Jim, I pulled the following from www.briefing.com on 12/11: "Autodesk Inc (ADSK) 26 -5/8: Piper Jaffray upgrades issue to "strong buy", saying company will gain competitive strength from its acquisition of Softdesk (SDSK)..." Also on 12/12/96, ADSK floated a press release announcing 20,000 seats of Mechanical Desktop in first nine months, huge numbers for 3D CAD design. I too am optimistic about ADSK based on its installed base in AEC, and especially the potential for 3D MAX - a very hot product in a hot (small though growing) market. I also believe executive management is/will soon be embarking on a campaign to raise the stock price. regards,
