Barnes Group achieved a new high today .. In mid afternoon trading Barnes Group, Inc reached 29 7/8 today before settling back to close at 29 5/8, it's third consecutive closing high. The stock was favorably impacted by a strong broker buy recommendation on Amphenol (NYSE: APH) which was up 3 1/2. Barnes' performance has been exemplary of late rising almost 3 points in the past 7 trading days and I would be very surprised to NOT see some overhead resistance at 30. In the morning I will be reducing my holdings in Barnes by 50%, but will continue to hold the other half for the next 12-18 months. Regards, Gary
