I have decided to post some information on Barnes. I have not yet seen a post on this company which Im very surprised at considering how much they emphasize shareholder value. Here are the events of the last three weeks to give you an example of the prospects of this company. First, the company announced a 3 for 1 stock split (now selling at about $70). Next, the company said they will buy back 1 million of the 7 million shares they have outstanding and then third they decided to raise their dividend which is already nearly 3%. Fundamentally, the stock sells at a p/e of 14 pays a 3% dividend has only 7 million shares outstanding and has 1 analyst following the company who has a strong buy. Earnings over the last fiscal year came in at 4.90 and are estimated at 5.30 for next fiscal year. | ||||||||||||||
