She must be fully invested and hurting. Probably clients calling and bitching.
So out she comes witha statemetn hoping to move the markets. Well if GS doesnt co-operate she will get screwed as the market dives. But if GS cooperates then she will come out smelling like a rose-bush.


Is the tide on her side? Let's review a few points below:

1) Interest rates:

...the FOMC will likely cut rates by .5% on 1/31/01 according John M. Berry, one of the most respected Fed watchers.
