I agree with you. Not that I'd analyzed it that closely. I just figured it was interesting and will probably show up on the news. I have an acquaintance, the wife of a friend, who is a psychiatrist whose specialty is psychotropic drugs. She lectures about them. We've heard many stories from her about how life-saving these drugs have been for many of her patients. I mean "life-saving" not only because literally they've kept people from suicide, but even more that they've given people their lives back.

Also, there are studies showing that drug therapy is more effective than "the talking cure" in the treatment of depression. And that most effective is a combination of drug therapy and cognitive therapy.
