Adding TBFC to Internet Value! This Internet selloff has produced even more candidates for the Internet Value portfolio. I expect more candidates <g>. TBFC = Telebanc Financial Corporation. Put simply, they are an Internet Bank. The stock is about 65% off its high, it sells at much less than 6 times sales (my cutoff for this portfolio), it delivers mostly upside earnings surprises, and growth rate is greater than general banking sector. It has a rich mix of high margin financial services, don't worry about the risk of increased interest rates. Its closest competitor is NTBK, a richly overvalued company with a fraction of TBFC's revenues.
