Each of us has our own trading strategies which we employ as the market dictates ...Teresa has said it best in this post of hers which really is all about TA timeframes ...and the "set-up" ... Message 14726593 To this I would add personal (life) timeframes as well..just how much time does one care to devote to watching a trade all day? ..hence the "appeal" of position trades for some...(however many of us change hats regularly during the day or week as suits us) As our header on this thread indicates, our preferred mission is to identify the movers and/or potential movers as we've all agreed, but entry/exit points is a very personal decision and not encouraged on our thread ...however we DO encourage any posts that help another trader out when one spots news/provides a link (for credibility) vs. a rumour that would impact a particular stock. Rumors on cnbc are the worst kind until substantiated. Next comes rumours from message boards. Caveat emptor rules now for than ever, simply because we have "it" coming at us from all directions....and in greater frequency.
