I think that if they do not replace him soon it will be too late to repair the damage done to the dealers that have been around like me since 1988.
He came in and acted like he was going to tell us what to do and he has it all wrong. Dennis will first have to deal with this problem and I think you may see Eric move up in Management.
You have to remember these back scratching deals (Applied Security) and Bob have upset many other dealers.
Steve and a couple of other dealers sold the works to Counterforce back a few years ago. I had Dennis last week tell me that my 300 accounts are not worth anything if I left the area.
I have already sent a letter expressing how I felt about that, I have had a different monitoring station offer me over $200,000 and they want the old dealer out of the area. I told Dennis they better start to do something because the free alarms are going to push the dealers to sell to these other stations.
You add a man that treats the dealers like dirt and you are going to have a problem. I know a dealer now that wants to sue them, they still might. What have Counterforce done for the dealers that we would not have done ourselves NOTHING!
I hope this is going to be a good change I have had a least 20-30 clients quit and request to be moved in the last two years and it worries me. At a time when you have VSN dealers offering one year free monitoring and $16.00 per month Counterforce cannot make any mistakes.
I think the move this week will sort this out however. The R&D fund should not dry up becuase of poor client contact, every effort must be made to save the clients we have now.
One thing Counterforce did was cover the cost of the letter for the service Vans they put Counterforce on them. I had this removed after the third call out of the blue requesting a different station other than Counterforce. This was no longer good marketing It was like have the "TITANTIC" drawn on a service boat.
I do not really care now what happens with Counterforce I just want to know that the clients I have in there will be handled propperly. Counterforce are going to have to show me some reasons to start using them again.
I meet with a major alarm company this week and I will be signing on as a dealer in there nation wide dealer program. I will be able to install alarms at 0 down and I will still be able to put food on the table for my family. It sucks but that seems to be the way this trade is going right now. I will be able to also deal with the clowns that steal accounts because I can offer those clients a deal they can't pass by.
I still hope that Counterforce pull through they were amazing when they started, second to none, the best, it was fun working with them.
I hope they get it back.
