Now is probably the time. The stock can't get pounded down much more than it already is. And this came out today:

``Selling our millionth song during Q3 was a landmark event for EMusic. The recent growth in our downloadable music revenues demonstrates that people are prepared to pay for quality downloadable music from a trusted and recognized source,' commented Gene Hoffman, president and CEO of EMusic. ``Our fast-growing catalog of more than 100,000 songs by established artists, including Elvis Costello, the Goo Goo Dolls, Phish and Bush has established EMusic as the go-to site for anyone wanting to download music.'
``The major music distributors' recent announcements of their intention to sell downloadable music confirms what we've always said -- that downloadable music will replace CDs as the primary way music is distributed,' Hoffman added. ``EMusic has always been format-agnostic -- we manage an exclusive catalog of music properties, which can be sold in any downloadable format. We follow the consumer. If a new format supercedes MP3 as the format of choice, EMusic will quickly move to support it.'
