Actually it could turn out to be a good thing. Those lower paying jobs could go to older/retired workers looking for supplemental income. Time will tell. Plus, I have yet to see a study of the costs of emergency room treatment for people without insurance. In Florida the hospitals are pushing to "close" their trauma centers. They are not getting enough money from the govt. to cover costs and they are "for profit" hospitals. Ask anyone who has been in need of hospital care about the bill they get "after" the insurance payments. My last one was for close to $5,000 and that was with medicare AND Blue Cross supplemental insurance. $50 band aids?? (That's and exaggeration, but not by much!!) Obamacare is nothing but a first step. We need national health insurance and get the indigents out of the emergency room to reduce costs. Obamacare needs to be revisited and amended, NOT ended. National healthcare needs to survive in some form. RDK.
