Qinnet.com, Inc. ("Qinnet") announces the appointment of Mr. William Gladstone to chair its Technical Advisory Board, which will spearhead its recently announced E-Book publishing joint venture with Liaoning Publishing Group ("LPG") in China.
Mr. Gladstone and his firm, Waterside Productions Inc. ("Waterside"), have over 20 years of experience in the high tech publishing world and full knowledge of the key players developing the emerging eBook world. This knowledge and experience ranges from digital rights management solutions to individual hardware and software providers. Waterside also represents some of the most successful publishing authors from Peter Norton to Linus Torvalds and a majority of the technical authors of the "For Dummies" book series published by IDG Books.
In his capacity as founder and President of Waterside, Mr. Gladstone has been responsible for thousands of top selling computer books including more than twenty percent of all Computer book bestsellers ever published. Mr. Gladstone is the creator of the Waterside Publishing conference, which has become the leading industry event for the computer book Industry. This conference has been the leader in technology developments related to the creation of, print on demand (POD) and electronic books and documents. The alliance with Waterside will provide for the possibility of distributing technical white papers from top Waterside clients in China, which will also help provide the infrastructure necessary to distribute Chinese authors through out the rest of the world via the internet. To cement this alliance Mr. Gladstone recently attended the International Book show in Beijing, China where he met executives of Qinnet, LPG and various government officials in support of the project.
