During voir dire a lawyer asks each prospective juror whether they like lawyers. All answered in the affirmative. During his opening statement he again queries the jury, "Is there anyone, anyone here at all who does not like lawyers?" The jury gazes back at him with blank stares. Before the lawyer could resume, the judge remarks, " I don't."
