(Nasdaq: APII - News), a leading specialty toy manufacturer of educational and non-violent branded toys for children in preschool through primary grades, made public today that the JAY JAY THE JET PLANE Wooden Adventure System(TM) (JJJPWS) will be featured in the Imaginarium specialty educational toy sections located within 700 Toys R Us stores nationwide beginning July 2003. Following successful retail sales of the popular wooden airplane system in all 43 free-standing Imaginarium stores (owned and operated by Toys R Us), the JJJPWS line will be presented in five feet of space within each Toys R Us location on an anticipated permanent basis. Additional characters, buildings, and accessories will be released throughout the year and carried in each section. The first in-store arrival of additional new characters will be in the second half of 2003.

According to Toys R Us, each Imaginarium "world" combines learning and play, allowing customers to experience the finest learning toys available in a welcoming environment. As the latest line discovered by Imaginarium, JJJPWS joins the leading brands of the specialty toy industry.

"We are pleased that the JJJPWS has been so well received by Imaginarium and its educational toy consumers that they are expanding to Imaginarium sections of Toys R Us stores. A five-foot section is a significant amount of space in the Imaginarium area, and is a tribute to the sales potential that one of the world's leading specialty retailers sees in our Jay Jay line. The consumer exposure from this placement will assist our company greatly in reaching our annual revenue goals and increase JJJPWS brand recognition throughout the World," said CEO Ron Kaplan. "We still recognize it is our loyal independent specialty toy dealers that are the backbone of our consumer reach. Partly resulting from this, we plan greater investment in increasing our Jay Jay(TM) product line offerings and continuing our traffic-generating merchandising and support programs for those dealers."

JJJPWS toys are based on the popular Jay Jay The Jet Plane(TM) storybooks and television show. The show airs on PBS and PBS KIDS networks reaching 85% of households across the United States and appeals to children ages 2-5 years. There are 80 Jay Jay television episodes produced by Porchlight Entertainment and Modern Cartoons in association with Knightscove Entertainment.

"We are thrilled with how specialty toy retailers across the country have embraced the Jay Jay The Jet Plane Wooden Adventure System, literally putting Jay Jay and his friends in the hands of thousands of children," said Porchlight Entertainment President and CEO Bruce Johnson.
