From what you've shown me of Trend View so far, it looks like it's already pretty meaningful, but I'll feel a lot better about it once voting participation increases dramatically. We have lots of ideas on tap to help there and should be able to start implementing them before too much longer.

It looks like Trend View already works pretty well at the macro level. What I'm very curious to see is how it works at the individual stock level. Because I've long believed that a key piece of info that's largely missing from the stock market is how retail investors feel about a particular stock.

Using "they vote with their wallets" seems, to me, to miss a lot of data. Sure, it's helpful to know that there are more sellers than buyers. But I'd think it'd be more helpful to quantify "nearly sellers" and "nearly buyers".

And we're in the enviable position of being able to litmus test how people who aren't currently buying or selling a stock feel about it, and to take that measurement on a very large portion of the retail investing/trading population.

Really just a continuation of one of my favorite themes justifying the existence of sites like this: We're all in it together so let's leverage our collective wisdom.
