Snurf,snorfle, snort!! Ouch- my sides hurt! I don't know about everyone else, but I dig [boo!] that one. A famous anthropological linguist (!) had spent several years researching the origins of oral negations and positve assertions. He is presenting some of his findings to the Society, and states " While I have found case upon case of the double negative being used to indicate the opposite, I have, after years of interviews and countless hours reviewing literature, yet to have ever found the converse to be true.This then, is the most important finding in our field within the last ten years." To which a voice in the back says: " yeah, yeah, yeah."
