I've had very good luck trading with Waterhouse Securities. They charge 12 dollars per trade, give 100 real time quotes free with each trade, and are very competent and professional with their dealings. They also have a direct link program (which comes with the account) which I use to bypass the internet completly when it gets slow. Here's their address if you want to check them out:
