Despite this, my view is that SI will survive as a boutique message board. Raging Bull and Yahoo can keep their 10 or 100 times SI post volume - there isn't an ounce of intellectual content on either of them.

I agree with you 100% on the lack of intellectual content on the other boards....I hope you are correct about SI's survival.
