I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for an interest rate decrease. When the Fed next moves, I strongly suspect it will be an increase. With the unemplyment rate at 5.1% and wage inflation beginning to rear its ugly head, there's no way but up for rates.

You're right, statistically September is usually the worst month of the year. Becuase of the two biggest market crashes occurred in October, 1987 and 1929, many people figure Ocober is the worst. Wrong. While we may not have had a traditional summer rally this year, I'm still going to keep a lot of cash on the sidelines this month. Maybe I'll scoop up some more WFR in October.
