<<This news is giving the stock a kick...>>

Yes it counter-acts somewhat the previous news in late Dec. Will see if they can successfully appeal the HCFA decision:

LAKE FOREST, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 26, 2000--I-Flow Corporation (NASDAQ:IFLO - news) announced today that the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) has rescinded its approval for payment of I-Flow's proprietary ON-Q® and PainBuster® Pain Management Systems for outpatient surgical procedures under the Medicare Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System.

In August of this year, HCFA approved the ON-Q and PainBuster Pain Management Systems for pass-through payments under the hospital outpatient prospective payment system. Due to recent budgetary restrictions placed on HCFA, the Company has been notified that these products, together with many other approved devices manufactured by companies other than I-Flow, will be removed from HCFA's approved list effective January 1, 2001. I-Flow is in contact with HCFA and is taking the necessary steps to appeal the decision and press for reinstatement in 2001.
