in all honesty, my favorite book depicting
the era in and around the late 60's has to
be the right stuff.

now that is a great read.
i read it cover to cover in one sitting. and
then i read it again. i actually read the
prince of tides four complete times...
i love it when i find a book i can inhabit.

(it is odd to have had that produced in '91
when caro's second volume came out in
the same year. they simply ignored the
most scholarly work available, hmm.)
