Tom, I agree wholeheartedly with your points. Just a few of my own. 1. In down markets, people tend to trade less so earnings are impacted. 2. My concern with TWE is their willingness to step up to the plate and go toe to toe with E*Trade. So far they haven't really done that. 3. I doubt if we are entering a bear market although pundits might think that just because the S&P500 isn't gaining it's "normal" 20+% that a major shift has occured. <grin> I'm sure TWE will do fine especially if you AIM it and even out all the ups and downs. I have to confess I'm tempted, but lack cash right now. ---- Dave
