I have a visceral dislike for Trump and don't agree with him on just about everything, but in regard to China I do agree we need to do more, and it may be too late. Thing is, he isn't exactly making more friends in Europe, and they do have at least one worldwide leader in chip equipment tech, ASML, that could supply what China needs if he does not get them on board with whatever is decided on.
