I'd argue that.

The US afterall does not pretend to be a sanctuary city/state/country.

You are living in an anomaly state.

It could be different. It is not hard to track exports from the top 6-10 ports. I'm sure there are customs watching!

Once I sold 10 Tahoes to a US company on a fleet deal. They converted them into high rider 4X4's and shipped them to Japan.

I got a nasty letter threatening my franchise because I sold them to be exported.

I told them - it's a free world and if you don't like who my customer sold them to - sue them. <smile>

Never a response , but I did learn US customs pays attention!

PS, this was done before for shipments into Iraq or Iran - can't remember which.
