<<pump and dumpers had their way with this one>> On the week of June 8th, Golan and Globus began a road show to several major U.S. cities to raise money. There was a party at Planet Hollywood in NYC and an interview on CNNfn on June 10. The stock climbed very rapidly on the days preceding this event. On June 9, the stock started dropping rapidly. From a distance, this appears to have been a pump and dump scheme. If you review posts #90-350, you'll notice the only thing missing is the hype-the pump. Yes, there are positive predictions, but amazingly little hype.

I checked the Tokyo Joe's Caf‚ (posts #3,000-3,500) during the same time period to see if it was being hyped there. I could only find a handful of posts during that time period. A couple contained overly optimistic comments, but there was in no way a concerted effort to manipulate MVEE TokyoMex-style. There are a few names that show up on both threads, but again little or no hype. There is indication that TokyoMex owned the stock at one time, but no hype or bashing.

Since hindsight is 20-20, it appears that the interested lurkers and event traders jumped on the train during that week before the road show and nimbly jumped off just before the TV interview. Perhaps they are still lurking.
