Capsule toys ... I did a search on Alta Vista and the best link I could find was this one ... daikaiju.com

It will at least give you an idea of what they are like.

Seems these are very popular in Germany. What I am gathering from linking around to the various pages is that the smaller figures (3 & 4 inches) are probably the capsule toys. It seems they are a higher quality version of vending machine toys. I have a 6 year old son, and they look just like something he would love. Would I pay $50 for a set of 2 - no way. I never understood the beanie baby craze, and I don't think that they could ever be that big. Is there a market for them here though? Most definately.

Although this web page came back when I did the search, I couldn't find any direct reference to them specifically as capsule toys. I noticed that the names were the same as some of the figures on the other pages I linked to. The web page above seemed to have the best pictures and pricing references. If you utilize any of the search engines and do a search for "capsule toys" you should find something. I was just curious as to what they were, and thought maybe some of you were too!
