Hi Tom, I see that Patrick has already responded to your query. I don't consider weather in trading the financials--now it is a factor when it comes to trading some of the commodity markets. Seasonality, on the other hand, is a factor when it comes to trading the stock market--there is reliable statistical evidence to suggest that certain periods of the year are supportive of rallies and other periods supportive of declines.
