Jack,

The plan was to slowly accumulate while the stock was undervalued. Purchasing 7-10k worth every 1-2 months while falling. The February 1999 purchases were made when I thought the stock had recovered and was being recognized by the street a bit more yet still undervalued. There are background and sector reasons why GALT wasn't going out of business and why they were undervalued and would not be in 12-18 months. I find these occasionally and load the boat when I do. I used to stop buying once the stock started to appreciate, but now I sometimes average up when I find an exceptional stock which is still undervalued. These days it is much harder to do.

I do not expect AIM'ers to have as good information as I sometimes have and I was very general about communications chips in general in the October 1998 timeframe. Almost anything you selected then and held onto is up at least 200%, so GALT being up 400+% isn't that big of a deal.

Dave
