Richard,

Thanks, I hope I finish it some day! What really got to me was the
settlement by NASD with the Justice Dept in summer, 1996. The
essence was that the "market makers" were in collussion to keep the
spreads on Nasdaq stocks "wide". This is said to have cost investors
billions of dollars every year. I contend it's still happening.
