Shorts covering their positions ... Based on estimates from my trade volume data, I believe that there are at least 4,000,000 shares still short. We will find out for sure when the short positions are next published (probably by the first of next week). If this is an accurate estimate, it should really be fun to watch if strong buying starts soon! Since 14Feb97, the average daily volume has only been about 353,000 shares.
