Starowl, it's extremely likely that you will not only recover your loss in ADPT but will be rewarded by a seizable profit (in % terms) if you are willing to hold for a year or two. As a rule, I limit my investment in technology because of the high volatility. However, because of recent development which presents us with an unusually good buying opportunity, I sold all my long term holding in JNJ and use that money to invest in cos like ADPT. None of us know for sure which of these tech cos will be big winners but if we do our DD and invest in different areas of tech which are current grossly out of favor we will, most likely, beat the S&P rate of return handily.
