I have heard that Ovonic NiMH batteries are the battery of choice of many automobile manufacturers for electric vehicles & the NiMH batteries are commonly used in cellular phones, notebook computers & many other applications. No writers on this board or the other boards related to lithium technology, ever seem to mention NiMH technology. Is this an oversight or do they think NiMH is going to disappear? I have seen Duracell's marketing projections for rechargeable batteries, & NiMH represents well more than 50% of the market in the year 2000.
