<<If this gets over with fairly quickly, why would you think the public would remember any longer than they have about anything>> Dan, of course the premise I'm working from is that this isn't going to be over quickly and that there is a possibility that events run out of control(economies crash, war, whatever) and that IF something like that happens while this mess is going on in the Senate, THEN people will associate whatever the disaster is with the Republican Party. I don't personally think that would be a good thing...but, I think its possible that it will happen..
