Janice, what is weird about talk radio? Practically everything. I mostly hear it when I'm in cabs. On the way to the airport, that sort of thing. My take is that the callers are a bunch of self-pitying louts who want to vent, and who particularly get off on Being On the Air. (TV's better, of course, much better.) Many are close to being certifiable. And they're the ones who actually get through the screening process.
