Bruce, You write, "I'll bet you are pretty selective on your outrage about constitutional excesses." Tell me, if you will, before you posted this, did you click on my profile and read what else I've posted? I would also respectfully direct your attention to #reply-9083 (hope it's clickable this time <g>), as that post ties in nicely with my thinking on these so called "independent" counsels, and #reply-9087 further clarifies the inherent perils in these types of investigations and their potential for abuse. I might also add that Janet Reno, properly or not, took the fall for the Waco disaster (or excess as the case may be). She's probably not a happy camper on The Beltway. Clinton fire Reno? I can imagine only the backlash. Politics for its own sake rears its ubiquitous head. Holly
