Gemini and Sergio - good info on the job market. Gemini - I agree with you that the market is depressed for computer consultants. Your situation is not fair, and I'm sorry that's happening to someone with your level of skills. I think your analysis of people waiting for the market to come back, and increase confidence is right on. I won't open the Clinton issue here, as it only gets people inflamed on all sides. I don't blame him at all for any of this mess. I think we saw a bubble tied to the Year 2000, and the Internet economy, which has now burst. Companies were producing network equipment etc. at 50%+ growth rates. That could not continue without an ever increasing bubble forming, or real Internet profits materializing in the dot.coms on a widespread scale - which didn't happen. The market overextended, and now has come back. I think if Bush had been there we'd have seen the same thing. It was a wild ride, and fun while it lasted. I think we need to consolidate a while more here, and then get ready for another boom. I think just as the 90's boom eclipsed the 80's boom - so the 2002-2009 boom will put the 90's to shame. We may not see a bubble Nasdaq again, but I think a real boom will materialize, nonetheless. Hang on to your hats, as R. Reagan used to say, "You ain't seen nothing yet!" Matt
