Thanks--that information helps. I am surprised though that the actually positioning of the wells can be protected via a patent. I do understand that the wells positioning is just one part of the entire process of THAI, so it may be that the wells positioning in and of itself is not protected from others using the same positions and then using a different method of adding O2.

Really would need the opinion of Intellectual Propoerty lawyer here--and someone with a drilling background also.
