I agree with your characterization of those countries with poor native populations and the reasons that they support "populist" politicians; and also agree that the other countries in the mix are not yet to this populist stage and do have, at present, a different cultural dynamic. (Your Brazil example is not a good one as it has no large oil & gas deposits for export unlike the other countries in question)

What I have done, is projected what will happen to the cultural dynamic in these other countries if Bolivia & Venezuela are successful in holding up the Major Oil companies.

It is my assertion that the dynamics in these other countries will begin to change based on the success of the others and the consequence to foreign companies that have natural resource contracts will significantly impact their bottom line.

I don't know what more we can say about it now--we'll just have to wait and see what comes, but if you are an investor considering putting money into PBG or CLL it is something to take into account.
