I think WB is a cagey guy, doesn't want to tip his hand. Easier for him to downplay his possible interest in the sector while he waits for things to shake out and mature a bit, that way he is immune to criticism for letting the train pass him by when he is really just waiting to get the schedule. Man, are my analogies bad. Anyway, he reminds me of something that my father-in-law told me a long time ago about investing. Pick something you're interested in, learn about, watch it, then get in and don't cry about sectors or stocks you missed out on because you will never have enough money or time to get to all of them anyway. WB has a lot more money than I have, especially after the last couple of months:), but this is even true to some extent in his macro example. When WB does get in, we will all know about it, about 3 months after the fact...
