Can one compare Munn Lake Sill to Snap Lake sill-dyke-whatever?
The small samples taken to date are very positive but a larger sample will be needed to fill in the lognormal chart for the diamonds and to establish a value per carat.
If the value and tonnage is there, 12, 8, and 5 meter wide sections are definitely mineable. The 25 meter boulders on shore would indicate that there may be even wider sections in the sill.
SUF has not said very much about the surrounding geology but it would not be unreasonable to think that the sill is surrounded by granite.
If the value is there mining even under the lake should present no great technical difficulties. In addition to the expectation that the sill is surrounded by structurally solid rock there is in addition the permafrost factor. The ground is permanently frozen to a depth of 200 to 250 meters which means few problems with water leakage even if the surrounding rock were permeable.

The potential for Munn Lake is wide open. Much work will need to be done to define an economic mineable body. A positive bulk sample and some wide intersections could quickly firm up the project.

With work in progress towards proving up mines on MPV and Winspear property, huge tonnage is not neccessary as ore could be transported for processing at a nearby plant.
