For those of you who care . . . (I'm sorry that this is not a post of where I got into the stock or sold out of it).

High Speed Access (HSAC), a Paul Allen company, came public on Friday . . .

I am interested in your thoughts on HSAC versus AtHome. I have often wondered if AtHome is actually a violator of your paradigm, in that it serves a dual role in providing cable modem service and content.

As seen in the quote below by the HSAC President, they primarily focus on connectivity.

"The people that started off as our competitors have turned into potential partners, such as RoadRunner," Pitcock said. "As part of our development model, we are not competing with AtHome or RoadRunner exactly since they are both content-oriented and we are a connectivity company and partner with the content companies."

Does this mean HSAC fits a bit more nicely into your paradigm?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Yes, as you describe it, they are a paradigm company, and @home is succumbing to eventually deadly content/conduit androgyny.
