Hi Kathryn,

The Megatech software looks interesting, but I love QP2. It has some really nifty features that I don't think I could do without.

Each evening, while the data is unzipping, a huge "Market Report" in .txt pops up showing actives, vol. % gainers and losers , and a whole host of other market internals. Provides a glimpse at stocks that are doing something that you may want to look at later.

Also, all the stocks are separated into industry groups which can be loaded into watchlists with a couple clicks. I scroll through my watchlists by tapping one key to go to the next stock. You can pop directly to any stock by hitting the space bar and entering a ticker symbol and "boom", there's your chart.

As far as the fundamentals go, the information is incredibly comprehensive. It's like having Yahoo's fundamental capabilities on my hard drive minus the "news". Company overview, historical earnings and revenue tables, market cap, institutional holdings, dividend information, etc.

Everyone has their own preferences and gets used to the software they use, but if anyone was considering getting charting software or changing, I would highly recommend this one. I like the fact that it takes very little time each night to keep tabs on the hundreds of stocks I watch.

Thanks for the links. I never saw Megatech before. Can you go "full screen" with the charts without having all the indicator boxes? QP has them at the bottom under the chart. I kind of like that.

Best Wishes,
Bill
ps. It even has all the mutual funds in it too.
