This is without a doubt the most entertaining thread I read. What a meeting of the minds!

My opinion is that adding a real-life stock to AIM is like getting married. You are really committing when you enter that first buy. Through the ups and downs, for better of worse, bull or bear...
I too think the idea of less frequent trading has a lot of merit.

I also think that since stock-picking is such a crucial element of AIM , we should not be discouraged in sharing our stock ideas and actual selections here on this thread. I'm all for other threads or webpages if that's what the consensus thinks, however I don't mind reading the off topic posts at all. I rather enjoy them, and this is not even close to say a yahoo board where you have to wade through the garbage for good ideas. If we add a stock-picking for AIM board, won't we all read every post anyway?

By the way, have we decided which is the most effective strategy? Using price or time to determine the trades?

Everyone's differing interpretation is what makes this all so interesting. We're now even beginning to split the minimum shares and dollars to trade on both the buy and sell side. Maybe I don't want to sell less than 100 shares, but am willing to buy 50 shares. Perhaps I delay selling unless I am selling 10%, but will take advantage of the opportunity to buy 5%. Adds an interesting twist. The word "infinite" comes to mind.

Best Regards,
D1
