Not sure I stated an opinion one way or the other on the circuit breaker, rather tried to state what I recalled for why they were in place. I have not spent enough time considering them to really have an opinion, but if it causes reflection that leads to the conclusion that things are not so bad and maybe we should be buying these prices, that would help the dentist ... whereas a runaway market magnified by fear in the pits certainly helps no one. In a runaway market I suspect the buyers are very thin until people (traders) have time to reflect on the values being created. But to be honest, that is simply off the top and not well thought out....

This was brought to my attention. It would be interesting to compile such a survey of the systems thread. Anyone wish to undertake such an endeavor?
