Hi Bernie, I had the battery inside my laptop and thought it would act as a pseudoAPCC, but when the computer's on its "docking station" apparently the battery's out of the circuit. OOPS!

On Wed, I installed PowerPoint because some friends asked if I could put together a dog and pony show on AIM. In the past I've usually used close up lenses and created the graphics on my computer and actually photographed the screen to make slides. However, this time I wanted to try PowerPoint and see if I could re-create something similar to my last presentation I did for ROTARY.

After a little fiddling and learning it was easy to knock out a 30 slide presentation! It took grand total about 4 hours, I'd guess. Next time it will take much less because the learning curve will be removed from the equation. I have to admit this is one of the nicest "new" programs I've tried in years.

Last night I ran the "show" and it was well received. Now I can throw the lap top in the Jag and take the show on the road!

Best regards, Tom
