A farmer in South Texas is reported to have responded to a newsman's query regarding how much rain he received with, " Yes, I got a good two inches of rain, enough to make my maize crop and enough to get my cotton going real good. But my next door neighbor got more rain than I did". The newsman then asked him how that was possible, and the farmer replied,"Well,because he has more land than I have".
