In the case of a $6 stock, a split does not "increase liquidity for mutuals to come in and buy." First, a $500,000 investment represents the same percentage of equity (and, thus, liquidity) before or after a split. Second, many, many mutual funds have rules against investing in stock selling below $5. A split takes INTA out of their buying universe. Finally, if after splitting, INTA suffers a down market, it may have its NASD National listing in jeopardy. I believe NASD is intending to enforce its rule to delist companies that trade under $3 for any extended period of time. INTA could get caught in this trap.

Splitting any $6 stock is counterproductive.
