It's aliiiiive!

Hi E,

You beat me to the punch on this one. I was just in the process of writing this post.

Well one day does not make a trend, but I sure would like to see some follow through here. Double bottom forming here?

207.95.154.130

I hope so, but way too early to tell. ORCL was a big help. Shows that software sales are not as bad as the market thought. More in line with what I had outlined on a previous post here. But the real test comes next month when earnings come out. Good earnings and sales and VERA should be testing 52 week highs again IMHO.

*OT*

I didn't get a chance to watch the market today as I spent most the day over at Microsoft looking at their Windows 2000 Beta3. A very interesting day. I know MS has more than their share of critics (me too at times) but I think they are taking a better approach this time when it comes to testing a new version of an operating system. And I love the term they call it - Dogfooding - meaning they are actually using the software for everyday use - before the release. They actually have the entire corporate network running under the Windows 2000 Beta3. The experience of Win 9x for me has been a sore point - too easy to crash. I have been using Win NT4 here as it is much more stable. I picked up a copy of the Beta3 and will try it out on some of my machines.

LSI - What else can I say. Just look at the chart. Beautiful!!! Too bad Shane went off the deep end. I used to enjoy his posts. I was very tempted to post something yesterday but my conservative side said you better keep it to yourself.

RMBS - You have to be happy with this one so far. I am too, but I got in a just a little too soon. I am well into the black but if I had waited just a little longer... As usual your timing was impeccable. Now don't let this go to your head.<gg> I have been spending a considerable amount of time learning more about their technology. (I also have a background in hardware as well as software) I have printed out much of their documentation available over the net. Very dry reading but it has helped to confirm my opinions of RMBS as well as deal with the FUD that comes to the surface every so often.

When people like Tenchusatsu and Scumbria get on the RMBS thread pay attention to what they say. They know what they are talking about. The Camino release is important for acceptance of Rambus, but the real payoff will come when a product like Timna is released. Timna will be a product for the masses. Let me sum it up by saying I am very impressed with their technology and the prospects for the stock.

OPMR - Another one I have that is on the move. They just completed an SPO of 3mm shares at $9. The old symbol was OPMRF. They are based out of Montreal Canada. If they pickup Wal-Mart, this one will fly. They already have Kroger. News really move this stock. I expect this one to become a buyout candidate eventually.

Regards,

Jim
