After receiving stockholder approval with over 97% of votes cast in favor, MOSCOM Corporation has changed its name to Veramark Technologies, Inc. David G. Mazzella, President and CEO, commented, ''The name was selected based on the following reasons. 'Veramark' is derived from two roots. 'Vera' means 'true - accurate - believable' in many languages of major international markets. We deliver our products, which demand a high level of complex, computational accuracy, to many of the world's largest, global telecommunications companies and network service providers. ''During the past year, we have adopted a corporate value system based on honest relationships with our customers, suppliers and employees and the highest standards of quality. 'Mark' is generally recognized around the world as meaning 'a high standard - excellence - a distinguishing characteristic - a lasting impression'. We will strive to establish the name 'Veramark' as a symbol of veracity, accuracy and excellence in our work.'' Veramark Technologies, Inc. is engaged in the design and production of billing and cost control systems for corporate users and providers of network communications services in the global market.
