F Robert Simms: The NDX appear to be on a technical break out. At this stage, the sell signals in my system become ineffective. The market can stay overbought for weeks when this happens. I was concerned about the low volume of this break out, until I examined the break out of 5-1-97. The volume pattern was almost identical to this one. I will be going long the first opportunity that I get ( intraday buy signal ). By the way, my system is still giving a sell signal for the NDX. Still no signal for the SPX (Still in buy mode).
