Fred --- Off Topic ----- the chumps in Dallas don't deserve a Cup yet....sh&t they don't even know what ice skates are down there let alone frozen car locks. LOL and AT you ..... and pray tell, what do the folks in Buffalo know about .... except how to shovel/move snow and lose football games to Dallas ...... he he he they're really good at those and have lotsa practice over the years... There are a few of us chumps down here who know an icing from an icee and that all offsides aren't in football .... ggg check out this post from way back on the 9th .... Message 10044034 The magnificent game the Sabres played to even the series .... 12 shots was it and made the points on two breakaways .... betcha that won't win many games even in Junior hockey for breakaways are relatively rare ..... hate to have to depend upon that type of point production. I really enjoy watching the games, and am not near the "homer" with the Stars as I am with the Rangers, Spurs, and Cowboys. The Yankees do have the Rangers number ... LOL ... but SanAntonio seems to be coasting against the Knicks. You and GZ both are better spoo players than you are hockey pickers ..... gggggg you might as well yell GO GOLD (as in XAU) as GO SABRES ...... he he he Way I've been seeing these five games .... Buf has outskated Dal maybe three periods .... has been very lucky to even have scored once per game ... Let the Stars see a steady diet (as in during the season) of Dom and they will eat him alive .....he is a great goalie BUT one of the few weak points he has is on the roof, and those wily vets from Dallas would make him stay upright and then beat him low and away ... BTW notice how, since the first game, he's not been roaming too much out of the crease, or at least as much ... and after Dallas has knocked his stick (he surely doesn't hold onto it well does he?) into the corner and behind the goal .. he's not been dropping it out in front as much either ... and Screwy put the elbow into Pecas face couple of games back and it looks like he has made less of an impact lately, too ... he is just a two period skater right now.... BUT when he gets a litte more savvy .... he will be a great player ... take one or two more years .... then if he continues to play like now --- Peca will make the Hall ..... along with Dom and The Eagle ... that's two for Screwy .... nil for Buffler ... and Dallas have the two big guns hurt badly (9 and 22) one with a broken wrist and the other with strained knee ... I give you the numbers cause I don't want to confuse you with too many names and nicks ........ gggg Screwy is Scrudland and The Eagle plays a lot of minutes at the other end from The Dominator .... he he .. eh ? PuckHeadNemer oh yeah ..... GO STARS --- close out the bufflers tonight ...... Hey Freddie ---- no ill will meant by the post .... felt like razzing you some after the chump remark about Dallas .....ggggg I'm just feeling exceptionally good this fine Saturday afternoon ... have two of the three kids and both grandkids are coming over to Paris for Father's Day ..... and I'm really looking forward to the game tonight ... it wouldn't upset me if the Sabres were to win cause that would mean I get to see one more game Tuesday night ....... so if Lindy would agree to lose then ... I'll yell GO SABRES tonight ..... LOL
